Decker has been working hard at learning new dances week after week for this season of “Dancing With the Stars,” but she admits it hasn’t been easy. “It has been so hard this week I’m not going to lie,” the singer-songwriter said in her Instagram Story. “I am just struggling to get this dance, it’s just been so hard.”

Decker continued, “I feel like I go into this and I feel like it should be easier for me and I just cannot seem to get it. It’s been definitely draining for me.”

The 34-year-old also admitted she woke up with a stuffy nose due to allergies, more than likely caused by the drastic change in weather from flying back and forth to and from California and Nashville.

This is not the first time Jessie James Decker has opened up and been vulnerable with her fans through this “Dancing With the Stars” experience.

“Not gonna lie, I’ve been struggling emotionally this week,” Decker wrote in a previous Instagram Story. “Missing my babies and Eric so much and feeling so out of my element missing Tennessee.”

Although admitting to having her struggles, Decker went on to try and look on the bright side of things. “But the sun is shining extra today and being able to lean on my partner, Alan, was just what I needed to power through!,” she continued.

On night one of “Dancing With the Stars,” the 34-year-old singer received a score of 20 out of 40 for her cha-cha to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s 1974 classic “Sweet Home Alabama.”. “I really want to be here,” Decker told host Alfonso Ribeiro after she danced. “But, I’m a mom first. It’s been hard, but I’m up for the challenge,” she added.

After the show premiered, Decker took to Instagram to express her gratitude. “Wow, this has been one of the craziest weeks of my life!!! ,” she wrote. “Learning this dance in a week was such a challenge. I completely stepped out of my comfort zone and attempted to do something that scared the u know what out of me – and on live TV lol.”

She continues to express her appreciation for her fans week after week. “Went all gold last night 💛 I continue to give my absolute best and work hard and give it my all on the dance floor,” she said after Bond Night on Monday. “Thanks to everyone who keeps voting for me. You are the reason I am here💛 I’m so grateful for my partner @alanbersten and his faith in me ✨.”

Decker has been trying her hardest during “Dancing With the Stars.” Last week, she avoided the bottom two despite getting one of the lowest scores of the evening — 26 out of 40.

“Dancing With the Stars” returns to Disney+ for Disney+ Night on Monday, October 10 at 8 p.m. ET.
