Business mogul Kim Kardashian recently revealed the unusual reason she and ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson decided on a new place to be intimate. Following her publicized divorce from Kanye West, her ex-husband, the 41-year-old was spotted with Davidson several times before the duo made their relationship official.
The former couple dated for nine months and called it quits in August due to their hectic schedules. Despite the breakup, Kardashian and Davidson seem to be on great terms, with the reality star calling him a “cutie” and saying she wished the best for him.

Kim Kardashian Said She Had Fireplace Sex With Pete Davidson
“The Kardashians” released its fourth episode of season two on Thursday, and there, the 41-year-old revealed that she had sex with ex-boyfriend Davidson in front of the fireplace in honor of her grandmother.
In the episode, Kardashian was seen speaking to her grandmother, Mary Jo Campbell, as well as Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner, her mother, and disclosed that she had put Campbell’s advice concerning her sex life into practice.
“Pete and I were staying at the Beverly Hills hotel last weekend, and we were sitting in front of the fireplace just talking for hours, and I was like, ‘My grandma told me that you really live life when you have sex in front of the fireplace,’” the reality star said (per Insider). “And so we had sex in front of the fireplace in honor of you. I know that’s really creepy.”
When Campbell asked what fireplace Kardashian had been intimate at, the 41-year-old revealed that it was not in the lobby. She added, “But how creepy to think about your grandma before you have sex.” Her grandmother responded, “I know. But I was younger once.”
Pete Davidson Said He Wanted To Get Away From Everyone
Further on in the episode, Kardashian spoke about how excited she was that Davidson was set to join Blue Origins for its 20th mission to space. “He’s really gonna go with Jeff Bezos,” the reality star said before she got a phone call from the comedian.
After picking up the call, Kardashian put Davidson on speaker and said she was with her grandmother, mother, and Khloe. “My grandma says she misses you,” she added. The 28-year-old responded by saying that he missed her too.
Kardashian went on to talk about his trip and jokingly asked if he had a will drafted just in case anything went wrong up there. Davidson responded, “I’m making one now.” He went on to describe his personal life as “scarier” when placed side by side with the trip.
The actor added, “I can’t wait to get the f— away from everybody … I think I’m gonna stay up there, babe.”
Kim Kardashian Initially Didn’t Want A Relationship With Davidson
In an earlier episode of “The Kardashians,” the reality star revealed that she had not considered getting into a relationship with Davidson when she reached out to him initially. In a solo confessional, Kardashian revealed that she felt “a vibe” during the duo’s first kiss in October 2021 during their “Aladdin” skit on “Saturday Night Live.”
At the time, she said, “I was like, ‘Oh shit, maybe I just need to try something different.’” However, the 28-year-old did not attend Kardashian’s after-party. The kiss was on her mind enough that she asked for Davidson’s number from a producer.
“I wasn’t even thinking, ‘Oh my god, I’m gonna be in a relationship with him.’ I was just thinking like, ‘heard about this BDE, need to get out there,’” the SKIMS founder said. “I was just basically DTF.”

After nine months together, Kardashian and Davidson split on reportedly amicable terms. An insider told E! News that the former couple experienced difficulty maintaining their relationship mainly due to their conflicting schedules and long distance during projects.
“Part of the reason they split was because of their busy schedules,” the insider said. “They both travel all the time, and it was hard.” Despite the break, sources claim that the duo still have “a lot of love and respect for each other.”
Kardashian and Davidson were initially romantically linked in October last year; however they were spotted more frequently in romantic spots early this year. The comedian confirmed the relationship in February 2022 when he referred to Kardashian as his girlfriend.
